Does the 14-day trial really need no card?

Correct. You enter card details only if you choose a paid plan on day 14. Until then, full Pro feature access — and on day 14 you can revert to Free with no charge.

Can I downgrade later?

Yes. Switch tier or move to Free anytime in /billing. We prorate downgrades on the next invoice — no early-termination fees.

How does annual billing work?

Pay 10× monthly upfront, get 12 months — saving ~17%. Mid-year tier upgrades only charge the prorated difference; downgrades credit forward to the next renewal.

What if I exceed the AI cost cap?

AI calls return a clear AI_COST_CAP_EXCEEDED error after the cap. No silent overage charges. Caps reset daily and monthly. Need higher caps? Enterprise has $100/day.
